Me

Hello!

...& now you are reading the Blog that I compiled as a major illustration of evidence, & my own individually unique thought process, for my University BA (HONS) Design: Creative Media - Games studies. Albeit not current; I graduated 2013!

Having realised my FrockedFun Blog required some editing in helping to promote me & my graduate work for a more current, & slightly different view, on today's objective, I have condensed & omitted some aspects & pages that I deem unnecessary...or not apt.

Please contact me for more.
My many thanks & kindest regards Tx

Tracey Valliere-Evans BA (HONS) Graduation 2013
2012-3
Bumpy paths strewn with sparkles & smiles, meandering through my shared lives & on to my route to new adventures; the lil blonde is now behaving somewhat, at being a University student!
On a day in the midst of Autumn in 2012, & just before any leaves had fallen, I received a letter in the mail; I was aware this piece of printed sheet could have the possibility of upturning my life.....it did! I have to admit I got pretty excited once all the torn rustles subsided, & eyes on words revealed I HAD AN UNCONDITIONAL OFFER onto the final year of a BA (HONS) Design: Creative Media - Games Art, at Glyndwr University in Wrexham, Wales! ...a few shouts escaped, & a leap of energy exploded into mid air ;)
I was 'kind-of' on the path of FrockedFreelancing in design & creative consulting, alongside some funky FrockedFurniture design ♥ but forcing myself to sit for days with fingers to keyboard writing my personal statement, once the remainder of my application had been succinctly completed, I submitted & waited. & waited....& was then actually accepted onto my next adventure.
After an eternity of 'eternal-seeming' turn-downs for jobs, & a hindered false start at study the previous year, I did my research into what, where, & how to best study pour moi. Fashion, obviously after founding my own label in 2004 seemed to be the first port of call, but I also had design; from apparel to graphics, web & the origins of UX/UI, plus business & marketing, alongside my other interests in life to follow, including teaching qualifications. But...I had read a piece online the previous year, which had drawn me to take a peek into the Games Industry; the article illustrated a lack of women working in Games. My analysis, at that time, did not prove too promising & other matters took precedence, however coming across this discussion again in the summer of 2012 I decided to follow-up further, & here I am.

I am looking at dipping my jewelled toes back into the fashion, design, marketing, creative digital & e-commerce arena again on another day.....& create another chapter XoX

"Putting a CV & portfolio together is proving quite an amazing jaunt, seeing my incredible journey & at what I perservered with to start & then strived to create/learn/achieve/multi-task/travel etc for Frocked - working into the early hours all those years ago & up at dawn creating & doing business - so not much sleep was had but with coffee & croissants in bed to start an early day ;D ...........but god I learnt an awful lot in the process :)) & have been able to wear some rather showstopping frocks & dapper girly-gear, & met some incredible people!! XoX"
~ Looking forward to a new future with some fashion in it!! ;) ♥ ~ T Valliere-Evans Jan 2010
Frocked de la Vallière Ltd ~ Trading: 2004-2010
2009
Founded in 2004, Frocked de la Valliere ltd/ Frocked.co.uk was run from the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales until 2010. Selected within 1st year to show at Profile London with Daisy Lowe modelling the Cappuccino, & the late iconic Isabella Blow commended on the cut of our designs! The team were spread but we used skilled personnel/friends from as far as London, Scotland, England & South Wales to help create these unique designs; some who have also done work for Vivienne Westwood amongst other names, & still in touch to this day! Frocked featured on BBC.com, Radio Wales, Cheshire Life, NW Living, Welsh & North West England press etc. Siân Lloyd, Welsh TV celebrity, chose pieces to wear to awards ceremony at The Dorchester. I did well on teaching myself SEO: number 1 on Google.com! Harrods London/ASOS.com submitted interest in our last collection for their future seasons. Hunter Boots Ltd sponsored Frocked on London catwalk, & featuring in marketing literature.
Etc, etc...
